Max Streicher SpA is a leader EPC contractor within the oil&gas sector (pipelines and plants). Our headquarters are in Parma and we work on projects in Italy and abroad.

For our current project in The Netherlands - the construction of a renewable products refinery - we are looking for a Mechanical Inspector.

The job entails:

1. Targeted inspections on equipment before installation activities, ensuring compliance with client requirements and QCPs;
2. Inspection of equipment internals in accordance with manufacturer documentation and client requirements;
3. Checking equipment installation, alignment and leveling, as well as alignment of any rotating equipment;
4. Evaluation of flange connections;
5. Tracking equipment production progress;
6. Performing tests, checks and inspections according to QCPs, whilst being aligned and coordinated with construction progress;
7. Drafting quality reports and tracking both quality and production records by using dedicated software (e.g. EasyPlant).

Our ideal candidate speaks fluent English and Italian and will have:

1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in oil & gas production or processing industries, such as Refineries and Gas Compression Stations;

2. Knowledge of standard mechanical installation process for both static and rotating equipment;

3. Knowledge of main ASME and EN standards for flange process (ASME PCC-1, ASME B 16.20, EN-1591, etc.);

4. Previous experience in Equipment (static and rotating) inspections;

5. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
